Job Summary

Responsible for performing installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial environments. This role involves diagnosing system issues using industry tools, communicating effectively with customers, and providing reliable service solutions. Technicians ensure systems are properly calibrated, replace faulty components as needed, and complete all required documentation accurately. A strong focus on safety, compliance, and staying current with industry standards and technology is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC and Refrigeration systems
  • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify HVAC/Refrigeration system issues and provide effective solutions
  • Communicate with customers to explain service needs, offer solutions, and ensure satisfaction with completed work
  • Ensure all HVAC/Refrigeration systems are properly calibrated to manufacturer specifications
  • Replace faulty parts, components, or systems as required, following industry best practices
  • Accurately complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other required documentation
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies
  • Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and product updates to provide high‑quality service
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma/Certification in HVAC/R
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • 2‑5 years of hands‑on HVAC/R commercial service experience
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles
  • Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems; skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
