Responsibilities
  • Conduct energy testing on new homes, including blower door tests, duct leakage tests, and other diagnostic tests to measure energy efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform site inspections to ensure construction meets building codes and energy efficiency standards.
  • Work closely with builders, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate findings and provide recommendations for improving energy efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all testing and inspection activities.
  • Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to energy efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Reliable transportation required to accommodate testing equipment and a ladder. The role may involve driving 80‑120 miles per day. Must possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and state minimum auto insurance. Company provides an auto allowance and fuel card to cover maintenance costs and company‑related travel.
  • Ability to conduct multiple inspections each day.
  • Must pass a background check and motor vehicle report.
  • Authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
Work Schedule

Generally Monday – Friday day shift; additional hours, including weekend hours, may be required in accordance with changing business needs.
