Apartment Maintenance Technician

Position

Apartment Maintenance Technician – Rochester, Minnesota. Immediate hire.

Monday – Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. One week on‑call every 6 weeks. Full‑time year round. Overtime potential available.

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make ready / turn‑over units between tenants.
• Painting, staining both interior and exterior applications.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Participate in on‑call duties (1 week every 6 weeks).
• Snow removal during the winter season.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 1 year or more of experience in apartment maintenance.
• EPA and/or HVAC certification preferred.
• Physical ability to service condensing units on roofs.
• Dry‑wall repair and painting.
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing (including sweating copper pipe).
• Strong working knowledge of electrical (outlets, switches, light fixtures).
• Knowledge of appliance repair/diagnosis (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, garbage disposals).
• Water heater knowledge of electric and gas models.

• Maintenance skills assessment during interview.
• Pre‑employment screenings: criminal background check, drug screening, and driver’s license verification.
• Physical demonstration of ability to complete basic job duties.
