The Electrical Master is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in homes. This role ensures that wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, and appliances function safely and efficiently while meeting building codes and safety standards.
Electrical Masters handle complex projects such as service upgrades, new circuit installations, lighting setups, and troubleshooting electrical faults. They interpret blueprints, coordinate work with other trades, and ensure all installations are high-quality and code-compliant. This role may also include mentoring junior electricians or apprentices, providing guidance on proper techniques and safety practices.
Candidates must have advanced knowledge of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols are essential. Effective communication is important for explaining work to homeowners and coordinating with other contractors when needed.
What you’ll be doing- Installing and maintaining electrical panels wiring and circuits in homes
- Troubleshooting faults in outlets lighting fixtures and appliances
- Performing service upgrades and adding new circuits safely
- Guiding junior electricians and apprentices on proper techniques
- Inspecting completed work to ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Follow electrical codes and safety standards on all projects
- Read blueprints and diagrams accurately for wiring and installations
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Document all work performed and materials used clearly
- Provide professional and courteous service to homeowners at all times
