Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Trillium Construction is seeking Wood Framing Carpenters near Hastings, MN to construct a new veterinary clinic.

This is ground-up commercial wood framing work on a single-story building.

• Frame exterior and interior wood walls.
• Layout walls from construction prints.
• Install floor systems, roof trusses, rafters, and structural framing members.
• Sheath walls and roof systems using OSB or plywood.
• Frame window and door openings.
• Install blocking, backing, and miscellaneous framing components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Measure, cut, and assemble dimensional lumber accurately.
• Operate circular saws, miter saws, framing nailers, lasers, and other carpentry tools.
• Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and elevated work platforms when required.

Pay:
Up to $30

Schedule:

Mon - Fri, 40h+ / week

• Experience with wood framing, blueprint reading, layout, and safely working on
  -an active commercial construction site
• Experience framing commercial buildings, multifamily housing, schools, churches, medical offices, or similar wood-structured projects
• Should be comfortable building the structural shell of the building from the ground up, including wall layout, framing, roof systems, and sheathing.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
