Spring-Fall Laborer
As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers, weed control, and pest control treatments in compliance with company standards and state regulations. You will operate and maintain equipment such as spreaders, sprayers, and company vehicles. Your role will involve diagnosing lawn and pest issues and recommending appropriate solutions. Effective communication with customers about services performed and future recommendations is essential.
You will maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety procedures, providing excellent customer service and professionally representing the company.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizers, weed control, and pest control treatments according to company standards and state regulations.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as spreaders, sprayers, and company vehicles.
- Diagnose lawn and pest issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Communicate effectively with customers about services performed and future recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Essential Skills
- General labor, construction, and landscaping skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain a pesticide applicator license (training provided).
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
