Refrigeration Maintenance Tech

BIH, a global leader specializing in innovative heat transfer technology for the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors, is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering & Maintenance department. This role is critical in maintaining the high-efficiency operation of our industrial heat recovery units and boilers, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards expected by our clients and regulatory bodies.

As a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician at BIH, you will be pivotal in optimizing our systems to enhance performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on refrigeration units and systems, diagnosing and repairing issues efficiently.
• Monitor and analyze refrigeration systems to ensure they operate at optimal levels, implementing improvements and corrections as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures outlined by regulatory bodies and BIH's internal standards.
• Document maintenance actions, including repairs and testing results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement system improvements and preventive maintenance programs.
• Train and guide junior technicians, promoting a culture of learning and compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC and related mechanical systems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment and support fellow team members.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and documenting job status and compliance.
