Quality Engineering Lead

Overview

• Lead and refine a comprehensive quality engineering strategy for multiple delivery teams, promoting best practices in testing.
• Design and enhance automated test frameworks using Playwright with Python and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion shift-left testing and performance testing strategy with tools like Blaze Meter and JMeter.
• Guide and mentor quality engineers in maintaining uniform standards and modern practices in quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and Dev Ops teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• Extensive experience in quality engineering or software testing, including leadership roles within Agile teams.
• Proficiency in automating tests using Playwright with Python.
• Expert-level ability to perform performance testing utilizing Blaze Meter and JMeter tools.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and integrating tests into CI/CD workflows.
• Effective leadership and team collaboration skills to drive quality improvements.

• Experience working on testing high-traffic digital platforms to ensure reliability and performance.
• Knowledge of API testing tools and approaches to enhance quality assurance processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based or distributed systems environments.
• Understanding of security, accessibility, and other non-functional testing areas.
• Background in regulated or enterprise settings, demonstrating adherence to governance and compliance standards.

The pay range for this role is $57 - $92 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
