Assist management in daily transit operations.
Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree or a combination of experience and education in transit operations. Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must be able to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks. Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must possess a CDL with passenger endorsement. Able to complete assigned tasks effectively either in a team or alone. Ability to travel within a large geographical area.
Needed Attributes:
Ability to converse effectively in English.
- Performs recruitment and screening duties.
- Communicates route and schedule information.
- Assists with training employees.
- Responsible for daily observation and written reports of driver job performance and conduct.
- Will perform dispatching and bus driving duties as needed.
- Conducts fare box collections, audits and reporting.
- Processes and distributes vehicle service information and assists in coordinating bus service swaps.
- Investigate and address internal and external customer complaints.
- Serves as liaison with community organizations and agencies.
FT Transportation Coordinator III position responsible for transportation coordination services across Isanti, Chisago, and Pine Counties. 40 hrs/wk.
