Benchmark is driven by its purpose to innovate for a healthier, safer, and better-connected world. The role involves delivering and collecting materials for local area customers and suppliers, and moving materials from Benchmark sites to other sites using vans and box trucks.

Performs general deliveries and collections to typically local area customers and suppliers or Benchmark site to site transfers. Driving vans and box trucks locally to move materials.

• Effective and timely delivery/collections, as required
• Correct handling of all items transported
• Correct documentation and sign-offs
• Maintain safe and secure condition for materials in transit
• Maintain safety, security and cleanliness of vehicle
• Comply with customer, company and supplier safety requirements
• Ensure that the vehicle has been properly maintained and inspected
• Assist in other duties, as required, when there are no transports. All employees are responsible for the quality of their work to ensure Benchmark meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.

• Valid driver’s license and DOT medical certificate, including a copy of official state driving record with 3+ years of no moving violations
• Provide official written record of previous employment history for past 3 years
• Ability to speak and read English per Federal Motor carrier requirements
• Effective organization and prioritization skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the company
• Ability to work well as an individual or on teams
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Demonstrate ability to interact effectively with suppliers and customers
• Participate in a continuous improvement activity
• Ability to effectively work with various computer programs as required in responsibilities

Shift 1: M-F 0900‑1730, Full Time

This position is classified as safety‑sensitive because impairment while performing job duties could pose a significant risk of harm. Where permitted by applicable law or required by federal regulation, Benchmark will conduct a pre‑employment drug screen, which may include testing for THC.
