Delivery Driver, Orange, TX
Full‑time delivery driver position with Donovan Marine. Responsibilities include transporting products from the distribution center to retail locations, maintaining safety and professionalism, and ensuring timely delivery. You will manage schedules, coordinate with warehouse staff, and handle any issues that arise during transit.
CompensationHourly pay: $20.00 to $21.00

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience of 2 years as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Pass D.O.T. medical card & physical.
- Pass D.O.T. drug test.
- Pass background check.
- Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns around Orange and West Lake, TX and Sulphur, Bridge City, Lake Charles, Iowa, Moss Bluff, and Hackberry, LA.
- Experience in the wholesale warehouse trade or logistics industry.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, Isuzu NRR box truck.
- Operate company vehicles to deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before and after each trip.
- Communicate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading and unloading of goods.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and maintain records of deliveries made.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries.
The required skills for this position include strong driving abilities and a commitment to safety, which are essential for navigating various road conditions and ensuring the safe transport of goods. Effective communication skills are necessary for interacting with warehouse staff and customers, allowing for smooth operations and addressing any delivery issues. Time management skills will be utilized daily to adhere to delivery schedules and optimize routes.
