Position: Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in St. Peter, MN — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay: $1116 - $1562 per week; hourly pay: $31.00 for PM shift. Hours per week: 36 - 48, depending on schedule chosen. Tanker endorsement within 30 - 60 days of hire. Loyalty bonus: $1500 paid at 6 months, $1500 paid at 1 year.

Schedule:

4 days one week and 3 days the following week. Start time: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.

Route:
Local Home Daily – Yard. No freight, no touch, yard work. We reimburse costs and provide training for endorsements.

Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass Ryder drug test
  • Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification with previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass DOT physical
  • Pass Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
    • 9 months experience within the past 3 years
    • 2 years experience within the last 5 years
    • 5 years experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
  • Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned
