Ability Building Community is looking for a Driver to join Team ABC in Rochester!
About ABC:
The mission of Ability Building Community (ABC) is to provide services for individuals with disabilities through community inclusion. ABC has provided work supports, recreation/leisure activities, and independent living services to people with disabilities in the Rochester, Caledonia, and La Crescent, MN areas since 1956.
About the job:
Drivers are r esponsible for providing safe and dependable transportation to program individuals in agency vehicles. The driver will transport individuals to and from ABC, various job sites, and other locations as assigned. Assists with coverage of program areas as schedule allows.
Schedule and pay:
No evenings and weekends! Daytime hours, Monday through Friday. The starting wage for a Driver is $18.00/hour plus a benefits package for full time (30 hours/week or more) employees.

- High school diploma, with preference given to persons with experience in working with people with disabilities.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, meet standards set by the agency's insurance carrier, be insurable, and have personal vehicle insurance.
- Must have or achieve certification in CPR/First Aid and successfully pass a DOT physical screening upon hire (Please note you must be at least 23 years old and have had your driver's license for a minimum of 3 years in order to obtain DOT certification).
- Must be able to pass a Department of Human Services background study.
