Position Overview

At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), Stockers play a key role in smooth operations—loading and unloading materials with safety, accuracy, and speed. Key Responsibilities

• Delivery & Material Handling
  • Verify trucks are loaded and secured per company and DOT standards
  • Unload, protect, move, and stage materials as directed by customers
• Inventory
  • Participate in monthly or annual physical inventories as required
• Safety
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and OSHA requirements
  • Use proper lifting techniques and wear appropriate PPE, safety shoes and clothing
• Physical Requirements
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
  • Frequently driving or operating equipment for multiple hours a day
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials (approx 100 lbs, sometimes greater)
  • Push and pull carts over various distances and surfaces, sometimes as a team
  • Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned
• Miscellaneous

  • Other duties as assigned

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• General knowledge of building materials and willingness to learn

Compensation

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and cost of living. This is a full‑time position with competitive pay and benefits.
