Staff Accountant

What You’ll Expect

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone beginning their accounting career who is eager to gain hands‑on experience in financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The position will support day-to-day accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, organization, and adherence to internal and external standards.

• Classify and record financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, accruals, and liabilities
• Review and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
• Maintain vendor records, including collecting and organizing W-9 forms and Certificates of Insurance (COI)
• Prepare and assist with 1099 reporting in compliance with IRS requirements
• Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and external regulatory standards
• Support audit requests by providing accurate documentation and reports
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Support accounts payable and payroll functions as needed
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Assist audit team during internal and external audits
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
