Position Summary
This position will be a key member of the Engineering Team supporting the manufacturing of 3D woven composite engine components. It encompasses everything associated with all products' manufacturing processes. Through direct management, you will help support and guide the team of Manufacturing Engineers in charge of improving the manufacturing process and manufacturing line efficiency. The role acts as a key customer interface responsible for coordination of technical issues, schedule, quality, and change management.
It is a first shift position, Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm.
- Manage the daily activities of the team of Manufacturing Engineers.
- Build, manage and enact a skills management and training program for the Process Engineers.
- Customer interface and technical coordination; regularly communicate with all levels in the customer organization to manage technical definition, work scope, progress status and schedule.
- Interface with Quality, Production and Product teams and their management to ensure coordination of all projects led by Manufacturing Engineers.
- Review project plans and proposals while working with management to develop project objectives.
- Ensure on‑time delivery of projects led by self or the Process Engineers in charge.
- Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and key resources.
- Accountable for decisions related to all program topics (development, manufacturing, business) and makes certain they are implemented to meet program objectives (flight safety, customer satisfaction, schedule, quality, and profitability).
- Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality standards.
- Participate in the development of program financial plans in support of the budget.
- Lead and support process improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Bachelor degree in science, engineering or engineering technology field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience required, with 2+ years of cross‑functional assignments in the areas of production, quality, program management or finance (Preferred).
- Strong ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
- Strong competency in managing customer interactions and presenting to management.
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office:
Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Microsoft Project or other project management software. - Project Management Professional or Green Belt certification preferred.
- Experience with composite materials is preferred.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and/or 6
Sigma techniques required.

The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 ‑ $130,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
