Masis Professional Group is seeking Injection Molding Process Engineer to work in the Rochester, NH area.

This is a 1st shift, direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities of an Injection Molding Process Engineer:
Process Development & Optimization
  • Develop, document, and implement molding processes for new and existing products.
  • Establish and maintain standard process parameters to ensure consistent product quality and cycle times.
  • Lead trials for new molds, materials, and equipment, ensuring readiness for full-scale production.
  • Lead lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
  • Identify and recommend equipment upgrades, automation opportunities, and new technology adoption.
  • Train and mentor process technicians and operators on best practices.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution
  • Analyze and resolve molding issues such as dimensional inconsistencies, surface defects, or material flow problems.
  • Support production teams with technical guidance and root cause analysis for process-related downtime.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to address tooling or material concerns.
Knowledge and

Experience of an Injection Molding Process Engineer:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in injection molding process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of various thermoplastics and molding machine technologies.
  • SCI Molding Training (RJG or AIM).
  • Experience with Toyo Plastar or Engel Victory machines.
Physical Requirements of an Injection Molding Process Engineer:
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on technical work for extended periods.
