Our focus is on new condensing boiler and heat pump water heater technology and the continued growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of sustaining engineers, and technical staff to resolve technical issues in existing products and systems.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for field failures, manufacturing issues, and design improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, quality, and service teams to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Manage engineering change processes and documentation to support product lifecycle management.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and problem-solving, especially in mechanical systems involving combustion or refrigeration.
- Support cost reduction initiatives, supplier changes, and component obsolescence management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Drive all sustaining activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical engineering role, preferably in sustaining or product support.
- Proven experience with combustion systems, chiller systems, or other complex mechanical systems preferred.
- Proven experience trouble shooting complex electro-mechanical systems in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and engineering documentation systems.
- Experience with general responsibilities of a line manager including conflict resolution.
- Must have the ability to work in the USA without the need for sponsorship.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in HVAC, industrial equipment, or energy systems.
- Experience with control systems (Embedded controllers, PLC’s etc)
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., UL, ASHRAE, AHRI, ANSI).
- Project management experience.
