Manufacturing Controller

Our established Rochester, NH client is seeking a Controller for their team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. If that sounds like you, then consider this direct-hire role at an ESOP company!

• Manage the company’s financial plans and policies
• Supervise and organize workflow for Accounting and Payroll team members
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare and analyze financial reporting
• Maintain all fiscal records
• Determine manufacturing material costs and estimates
• Maintain relationships with financial institutions

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in fiscal management
• Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in business consolidations
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, and ERP experience (Epicor Kinetic strongly preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to internal stakeholders
• Results-driven personality who can work with others diplomatically across all levels of the organization
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Effective problem-solving skills to analyze financial data, resolve complex accounting issues, and improve reporting accuracy
