King Pine - Rental Shop Attendant

Full-Time, Seasonal, Non-Exempt

Supervisor: Rental Shop Manager / Director of Skier Services

The Rental Shop Attendant at King Pine Ski Area will work as part of the rental shop team to assist guests with all aspects of equipment rentals. Specific duties will depend on the position held by the employee.

• Ensure the guests feel safe, welcome, and that you maintain a positive attitude throughout the shift
• Follow through with a customer until they are satisfied
• Promote excellent customer service
• Follow daily and weekly goals set forth by the management team
• Listen and complete all requests by management in a timely manner
• Follow proper procedure
• Understands and works with all of our equipment for tuning services
• Completes all work order forms in a timely manner
• Ensures that not only the work is done correctly but that it is also done neatly, efficiently, and with care
• Asks management for assistance when unsure or when there is a guest complaint
• Following the opening and closing procedures to ensure the department is maintaining its cleanliness and organization
• Working together with Ski Techs and Window to ensure smooth transition from input to pickup
• Examine returned items periodically to ensure they are within specs
• Properly techs the ski ensuring the guests safety
• Cleaning and putting back all equipment once returned
• Knowing and understanding everything related to XC skis, Snowboards, Snowshoes, and Ice Skates
• Assisting guests with guidance, directions, and finding the right person to answer anything you don't know the answer to
• Abiding by the guidelines set forth in the Rental Shop Guidelines form

• Strong customer service skills
• Organized and ability to follow through with tasks
• Ability to be aware of and focused on safety
• Is certified in all bindings relative to the rental shop (training will be provided)
• Is trained and efficient in ski and board tuning services (training will be provided)
• Understanding and being proficient in Rezo and Square to complete sales (training will be provided)
• Ability to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
