Position: School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Rochester, New Hampshire
A registered nurse (RN) with experience in school nursing is needed to provide coverage for an elementary school nurse on leave of absence. This contract position is based in Rochester, NH, and offers the opportunity to support the health and well-being of school-aged children in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide health care services and first aid to students during school hours
• Manage and maintain student health records confidentially
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized by physicians and caregivers
• Monitor chronic health conditions and coordinate care plans with families and staff
• Respond to health emergencies and collaborate with school personnel for student safety
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community

Required Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
• Strong communication skills for interaction with children, parents, and school staff
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in health-related situations
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols and pediatric health issues
