As a Lead Security Officer, you’ll monitor and coordinate casino security operations to maintain a safe and secure environment. You’ll assist in investigations, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and provide guidance to Security Officers during your shift.
What You’ll Do- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and team members
- Monitor casino floor activity and coordinate all security operations
- Assist with investigations and complete detailed incident reports
- Enforce laws, gaming regulations, and company policies
- Prevent entry by minors or intoxicated individuals; preserve order on the premises
- Respond to emergencies, defuse volatile situations, and ensure proper notifications
- Assist in training and evaluating Security Officers
- Communicate effectively with Surveillance and report suspicious activity
- Safely operate security equipment and vehicles
- Strong communication, observation, and conflict‑resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in crowded environments
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 45 lbs. and assist with detaining disorderly patrons if necessary
- Ability to recall events accurately and complete detailed documentatio n
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming license
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Work may involve exposure to weather extremes, loud noise, secondhand smoke, and other environmental factors
