The Supported Housing Specialist is responsible for implementing a Permanent Supportive Housing program to support eligible adults with a serious and persistent mental illness by working collaboratively with local housing authorities, other social service agencies, and property owners/landlords to develop and provide stable, affordable, and long-term independent housing opportunities through short and long-term subsidies such as Section‑8 vouchers or other types of permanent housing.

Works with a caseload of clients who reside in Strafford County who receive the Bridge's subsidy. These individuals may or may not be receiving mental health services from community partners.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in the social sciences or human services field.
• One year experience working with special needs populations; experience can be substituted for formal education
• Ability to work flexible hours to provide on-call support and respond to after‑hours concerns and emergencies
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job
• Valid driver’s license, proof of adequate automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation required
