Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Full Stack Developer
Hybrid Onsite Every Other Week in either Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX
As a Cloud Engineer, you will work within a collaborative, multi-functional team dedicated to improving the value of technology solutions. The team blends technology and business expertise while exploring and implementing emerging technologies in an open and transparent way. The organization supports open-source contribution, participation in foundations like CNCF, CDF, and FINOS, and a continuous learning approach supported by a dedicated learning day each week.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $66.00 to $76.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Design and develop APIs and backend technology stacks.
- Deliver applications using software engineering best practices and principles.
- Apply software engineering design principles and patterns to build reliable services.
- Engineer cloud-native applications on AWS and/or Azure.
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Cloud Formation, ARM, or Terraform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and delivery/deployment.
- Explore and implement emerging cloud technologies and trends in an open, transparent manner.
- Contribute to open-source initiatives and engage with engineering foundations.
- Participate in a continuous learning culture and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Hands-on experience in two or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, C++, or Angular, with Python as a primary language.
- Experience designing and developing APIs or backend technology stacks.
- Experience delivering applications using software engineering best practices and principles.
- Hands-on experience applying software engineering design principles and patterns.
- Strong experience working with AWS and/or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using Cloud Formation, ARM, or Terraform.
- Experience designing and architecting cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment.
- Demonstrated interest in new technologies and cloud trends.
- Commitment to Dev Ops practices and continuous learning.
- Gen AI or ML experience, or use of developer assist tools such as Git Hub Copilot or Gemini Code Assist (preferred).
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) knowledge or experience (preferred).
- Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (preferred).
- Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (preferred).

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
