Job Description:
Are you looking to make a difference in the community and be a friendly face for passengers? Our Driver’s provide transportation services for older adults within the Greater Rochester Area to travel both to and from our Easter seal’s Adult Day Program. We will provide paid training to obtain your Certificate, you will also receive training on how to conduct pre-trip and post-trip checklists.
No experience needed, we’ll train you! Training is paid for!
- Maintain a safe driving record and remain within the motor vehicle control program guidelines.
- Report all vehicles and customer incidents to supervisor and/or dispatch as soon as possible.
- Provide safe and timely transportation for all assigned customers.
- Implement appropriate Passenger Assistance Techniques to assist passengers as necessary.
- Utilize and maintain adaptive equipment for specialized transit.
- Execute preventive maintenance as required by Program and maintain all logs.
- Perform required safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Communicate with individuals, understand appropriate behavior modification techniques and maintain a safe environment on vehicle during transport.
- High School Diploma, GED or related experience
- The ability to obtain necessary certificates, again we provide paid training!
- Valid NH driver's license and insured vehicle.
- Good driving (DMV) and State criminal records.
- Successfully complete the Department of Transportation physical.
Part time; 20-25 hours a week;
Monday-Friday - Split shift 7:00am to 9:00am and 1:30pm to 3:30pm
$18 hourly
