Bumble Inc. is looking for a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to join our team. The position is fully remote, but candidates based in the NYC metro area or Austin are preferred.

• SEC Reporting
  :
  Own preparation and timely filing of all external financial reports, including Forms 10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, and other required SEC filings. Draft financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A sections and coordinate review with internal teams, external auditors, and legal counsel. Review U.S. GAAP disclosure checklists to ensure completeness and compliance. Serve as the primary administrator for the Workiva SEC reporting platform.
• Reporting and Disclosure Research
  :
  Research accounting and reporting guidance to ensure disclosures in public filings are complete and appropriate.
• Earnings Materials
  :
  Review financial information in earnings release and assist in preparation of materials for the Disclosure Committee, Audit Committee and senior leadership.
• Technical Accounting
  :
  Own stock‑based compensation accounting, including monitoring equity award activities, preparing quarterly journal entries, footnote disclosures, and technical accounting memos. Assist in annual impairment testing and EPS calculation; perform technical accounting research and prepare accounting memos for ad hoc transactions.
• Internal Controls and SOX Documentation
  :
  Serve as a key owner of internal controls over financial reporting to ensure SOX compliance, manage the audit process and fulfill information requests.
• Special Projects
  :
  Assist in statutory reporting and identify improvements to the financial reporting process to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  :
  Partner with FP&A, Legal, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations and P&C to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Team Development
  :
  Manage and mentor one staff team member.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA designation
• 8+ years of experience in financial reporting, external audit, and/or accounting at a public company
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 718 (stock‑based compensation)
• Strong Excel skills with ability to manipulate large data sets and create advanced pivot tables
• Familiarity with Workiva SEC reporting tool (preferred)
• Familiarity with equity software tools (e.g., Schwab Equity View) and Net Suite (preferred)
