Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting detail oriented who enjoys being involved in the details while also providing leadership, process improvements, and operational support in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage payroll oversight and ensure payroll-related accounting activities are completed accurately
• Review financial results, identify variances, and provide recommendations to leadership
• Develop, improve, and document accounting processes and internal controls
• Partner with operations and cross-functional leaders to support business initiatives and drive financial performance
• Mentor and support accounting staff while fostering accountability and collaboration
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed
