Controller / Accounting Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Controller / Accounting Manager to join a growing organization in the Rochester, NY area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting detail oriented who enjoys leading month-end close, improving processes, and partnering with leadership on financial operations. The position is available immediately with the potential to transition to a permanent role. Responsibilities include preparing accurate monthly financial statements and supporting reports, overseeing month-end and year-end close processes, preparing journal entries, closing entries, and account reconciliations, performing and reviewing bank reconciliations, supervising daily accounting operations and providing leadership to the accounting team, identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies while improving financial processes, assisting with future ERP system implementation and accounting process improvements, and partnering with executive leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting.
