Part-Time Bookkeeper

Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper for one of our clients on a contract or contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for an organized accounting professional who can manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support overall accounting operations in a part-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

+ Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and research discrepancies.

+ Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and deposits accurately and on time.

+ Maintain organized and accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

+ Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.

+ Support payroll processing and ensure payroll records are accurate, when applicable.

+ Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding accounting and billing matters.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience.

+

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

+ Proficiency with accounting software such as Quick Books or similar ERP/accounting systems.

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills and high attention to detail.

+ Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

+ Ability to work independently in a part-time, flexible environment.
