Collections & Fraud Specialist

As a Collections Specialist, you’ll help businesses balance their payments and resolve financial discrepancies in a way that supports their success. While prior collections experience is valuable, this role offers a refreshing opportunity to focus on collaborative problem solving and customer education rather than high pressure tactics.

• Accurately and efficiently resolve all bank returned items.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients while mitigating risk.
• Educate clients and internal teams on resolution processes and alternative service options.
• Research and resolve product and service issues, ensuring timely and accurate decisions.
• Handle daily processing of returned items, EDI payment reports, and payroll hold reports to meet departmental standards.
• Maintain compliance with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), NACHA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of products and services.

• Previous experience in collections. (Required)
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree. (Preferred)
• Experience in finance, accounting, payroll, or call center environments.
