Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead client engagements, develop staff, and serve as a key member of our Assurance leadership team.

At DeJoy, Audit Managers play a key leadership role in the success of our clients, teams, and Assurance practice. This position is ideal for a CPA who enjoys leading engagements, developing staff, building trusted client relationships, and contributing to the future growth of an independent public accounting firm.

• Manage multiple audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion
• Review financial statements, work papers, and engagement deliverables
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client relationships
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Audit Associates and Seniors
• Coordinate engagement staffing, planning, budgeting, and timelines
• Identify opportunities to better serve clients through additional services and advisory support
• Stay current on evolving accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards

• 5+ years of progressive audit experience within public accounting
• Demonstrated experience leading audit engagements and client relationships
• Strong leadership, coaching, and project-management skills
• Ability to review staff work and develop team members
• Experience working with manufacturing, construction, real estate, employee benefit plans, or other middle-market clients is a plus
• Prior Manager title preferred; candidates operating at a Manager level within a Senior, Supervisor, or similar leadership role are encouraged to apply
