Part-Time Bookkeeper

Description

Robert Half is partnering with a client to identify a Contract Part-Time Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong bookkeeping experience who can manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently in a part-time capacity.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

+ Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

+ Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations

+ Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances

+ Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping

+ Generate routine financial reports for management

+ Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal accounting procedures

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 2+ years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience

+ Proficiency with accounting software such as Quick Books, Oracle Net Suite, SAP, or Microsoft D365

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills and high attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in a contract or part-time accounting role

+ Familiarity with payroll support and account reconciliations

+ Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
