Range: UR URG 102 H.
Compensation Range: $17.00 - $22.10 per hour, based on market data, education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

Completes a program that offers an introduction to potential careers for high school students who wish to gain practical experience in a professional work environment within a specific department/program area. Offers the opportunity to develop valuable workplace skills, explore potential career paths, and contribute to the overall success of the department/program. This is for non-credit bearing experiences and only for those actively in high school.

Essential Functions
  • Assists with daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Participates in team meetings and assists with project coordination.
  • Develops communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to company policies and procedures.
  • Provides support for special projects, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience

Enrollment in High School required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Eagerness to learn and gain experience in a professional setting required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic required.
Licenses and Certifications

Employee must meet all NYS and Federal regulations to work as a minor, including working papers (if applicable based on age) upon hire.
