COMFORT WINDOWS & DOORS is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Office Assistant to join our Rochester, NY team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with customer interaction, and takes pride in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

As a key member of our team, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for customers while supporting scheduling, office coordination, and day-to-day administrative operations.

Position Type:
Temporary position running from now through September.

What You’ll Do:
  • Greet walk‑in customers and provide outstanding in‑person customer service
  • Answer incoming calls professionally and assist customers with questions, scheduling, and updates
  • Schedule measurement and installation appointments to support project timelines
  • Coordinate schedules and maintain internal calendars and tracking systems
  • Review documents, sales orders, and customer information for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform data entry and maintain organized customer and scheduling records
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and installation teams to keep projects aligned and on track
  • Assist with general office, clerical, and administrative duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous receptionist, front desk, clerical, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional phone presence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening, organizational, and follow‑up skills
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Comfortable using scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and other office technology
