Job Summary
  • Provides clerical support to the Assistant Principal plus other main office clerical duties as assigned.
  • Assists Assistant Principal in scheduling process (registration, master schedule).
  • Responsible for maintaining student records including grades, transfers, schedules, schedule changes, and class lists.
  • Prepares correspondence and reports.
  • Responsible for collecting and checking grade slips, entering information on the computer and distributing report cards.
  • Performs other duties within the level of responsibility of position as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Strong human relations skills to communicate and deal effectively with students, parents, administrators, staff and public.
  • Computer skills, experience and proficiency with the following programs:

    Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access; experience with Skyward preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and work independently.
  • Ability to take initiative, and work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions and refocus.
  • Must have completed or be willing to enroll and complete the Medication Administration Training course.
