Bob Johnson Buick GMC South in Henrietta is seeking to hire A-Level Technicians / Mechanics to perform vehicle repairs and routine service/ maintenance according to their skills and certifications. Responsibilities - Automotive Technician:

• Perform quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards
• Clearly write and communicate needed repairs/maintenance and the parts and time needed to repair
• Repair broken or worn mechanical and technology components
• Maintain repair and service records
• Install equipment, components, and systems
• Test vehicles both before and after repair
• Repair electrical wiring, circuits, and fixtures
• Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and certifications

Qualifications - Automotive Technician:

• Automotive repair experience required
• A level preferred
• Dealership experience is a plus but not a must!
• GM experience or certification is preferred
• A positive attitude and good work ethic
• Must be versatile in skills and tasks performed
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.
• Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills
• Valid NYS driver's license required
• High school diploma or GED
