Strategic Planning Analyst

M&A Analyst Overview

In this position you will be responsible for executing market and competitor analysis as a part of the strategic planning process and execution of key internal strategic initiatives. You will also support key external strategic initiatives, such as M&A analysis and due diligence activities. The ideal candidate for this role will have excel modeling experience and a strong analytical mindset.

• Analyze and research industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to support strategic planning processes.
• Scope and plan underlying analyses, understand required data and deliver timely analysis.
• Analyze data and translate findings into meaningful, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Work cross-functionally across departments and global business units to develop and deliver prioritized lists of threats and M&A opportunities for strategic initiatives.
• Prepare analysis, valuations and presentations for senior leadership to evaluate potential M&A deals.
• Support due diligence and financial analysis activities for M&A executions.
• Support preparation of annual strategic plan presentation for executive leadership and board of directors.
• Prepare and present long‑term strategic plan and associated analyses to internal stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced problem‑solving skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally to resolve issues.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, supporting multiple stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Demonstrated market research and analysis capabilities.
• Strong excel modeling skillset and strategic thinking abilities.
• Strategic mindset with experience with financial modeling and/or strategy assessment (i.e., capital projects, budgeting/forecasting, organic growth projects, DCF analysis).

#Hybrid

This is a full‑time position offering a base salary between 90k - 140k, position is eligible for additional incentive compensation. Full benefits are offered (medical, 401k, etc).
