This position is remote eligible for up to 40% of the time. Hours are typically Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

Pay and Incentive Plan:

Starting Pay: $31.11 per hour Pay Range: $27.53- $34.70 per hour

Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to support various functions for our Generational Wealth initiative, particularly those advancing opportunities for home ownership. The Coordinator will assist with operational tasks, troubleshoot software and vendor communications, and support the processing of down payment assistance grants for first‑time home buyers. The role includes problem solving and finding creative solutions as needed to support team success.

Accountabilities:

Support internal operations for Generational Wealth initiative

  • Support efficient implementation of processes for Generational Wealth activities
  • Troubleshoot software and communication system challenges in‑house or by contacting vendors
  • Assist with internal coordination and documentation for Generational Wealth activities
  • Support preparation of materials such as reports or presentations for internal and external meetings
  • Serve as backup for Generational Wealth Grants Administrator as needed

Assist with homebuyer down payment assistance process

  • Support the Grant Administrator in processing and tracking down payment assistance funding
  • Communicate with applicants to ensure complete and accurate submissions
  • Provide relevant information to internal decision‑makers for file review
  • Produce reports or process updates to support decisions and/or reporting

Assist with strategies to increase the supply of homes for purchase by first time home buyers

  • Support Generational Wealth team members as needed to support decision making, analysis, or review of opportunities to support housing supply
  • Support coordination with service partners, collaborates and vendors as needed
  • Respond as needed to internal and external inquiries related to housing supply initiatives

Performs additional tasks which support the business and provide ongoing self‑development

  • Support general business/nonprofit operations as needed
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Generational Wealth processes and strategies
  • Support Business Analyst and other team members to ensure the integrity of data used for reporting and analysis
  • Support internal partners and stakeholders with inquiries related to Generational Wealth
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, real estate, urban planning, public policy, economics, housing studies, sociology, statistics, ethnic studies or related fields or four years of equivalent experience
  • In addition, a minimum of two years of experience in civic engagement, financial services, real estate, urban planning, or related field
  • Strong communication skills applicable to business and community settings
  • Competency with Microsoft Office software:
    Word, Power Point, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, non‑profit management, urban planning, or economics preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in real estate, housing counseling, financial empowerment, community development, or nonprofit grantmaking
  • Coursework requiring some quantitative analysis or statistics preferred
  • Experience with down payment assistance programs, mortgage processes, or housing‑related software systems
  • Experience gathering and organizing data for reporting or analysis
  • Experience in residential construction, design or real estate development
