Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Product Manager to help shape the future of an AI-powered innovation, patent intelligence, and decision-support platform. The Product Manager owns assigned product areas throughout the product lifecycle—from customer discovery and market analysis to product delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with customers, Engineering, Data Science, UX, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive leadership, this role translates complex customer workflows and market opportunities into innovative enterprise SaaS solutions. The Product Manager is responsible for gathering and prioritizing product requirements, contributing to product strategy and roadmap planning, evaluating the competitive landscape, and defining AI-powered capabilities that deliver meaningful customer value.
Success in this role requires strong customer empathy, strategic thinking, technical curiosity, and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver products that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Own assigned product initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, from customer discovery and market validation through design, development, release, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct customer discovery and workflow analysis by engaging customers, prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand business processes, identify customer challenges, and validate market opportunities.
- Translate customer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and business priorities into product strategy, roadmap initiatives, use cases, and AI-powered user experiences.
- Partner with Engineering, Data Science, UX, and QA to define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate on AI-assisted workflows, semantic search, large language model (LLM) capabilities, orchestration, and emerging technologies while ensuring solutions meet customer expectations.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer value, business priorities, technical complexity, and engineering capacity.
- Contribute to product roadmap planning by evaluating customer needs, market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Define and monitor product success metrics, including customer adoption, product usage, AI effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and overall product performance.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Data Science, UX, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Content, and executive leadership to successfully deliver product initiatives.
- Support product commercialization through product positioning, competitive differentiation, demonstrations, sales enablement, customer training, launch planning, and adoption initiatives.
- Represent the product through customer meetings, executive briefings, webinars, industry events, Voice of Customer programs, and strategic customer engagements.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, including Generative AI, semantic search, AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and intelligent workflow automation to identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of Product Management, Product Owner, Business Analysis, or related experience delivering enterprise SaaS products.
- Demonstrated success translating customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives into successful software products.
- Experience managing products throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience partnering with Engineering, UX, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams in a cross-functional environment.
