Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pmWork schedule may need to fluctuate based on University-wide events, and academic breaks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assists in developing and implementing shipping and receiving policies to enhance customer experience
Provides timely and effective responses to inquiries and concerns from the university community
Supports data reporting requirements and maintains accurate databases related to shipping and receiving activities
Resolves issues related to the receipt, storage, and organization of goods
Receives, organizes, and stores goods in an efficient manner
Seeks and implements improvements in shipping and receiving processes
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of best practices and strategies in shipping and receiving operations
Knowledge of managing and maintaining accurate data records and reporting systems
Skill in providing exceptional customer service and handling community inquiries and concerns
Skill in effective written and verbal communication
Ability to adapt and implement changes in policy or operational procedures to improve service delivery
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely processing of all shipping and receiving activities
Minimum Education & Experience High School diploma or GEDNo experience required
Job Level Overview Operations, Administrative, Service, or Technical Support Level 1 - An entry-level role building knowledge and skills. Performs routine, well-defined, easy-to-understand tasks that can typically be learned in a short period of time. Work is performed under close supervision using clearly prescribed methods and detailed instructions.
FLSA Category Non-Exempt Work Location On Campus Compensation $16.90-$19.00
