Job Title: IT Contract Specialist
Location Requirements: Hybrid in Rochester, NY
Job Type: Contract
Role Overview:
You will coordinate IT service agreements and support purchasing and financial processes. Your focus will be on contract administration, managing requests, tracking deadlines, and supporting operational activities related to budgets and procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate requests for new agreements, amendments, renewals, and extensions
- Maintain a schedule of contract deadlines and initiate renewal discussions
- Work with stakeholders to confirm service requirements, timing, and changes
- Gather and review supporting information for procurement review
- Track open items, resolve information gaps, and follow up with stakeholders
- Support agreements related to technology staffing, outsourced services, fixed-price projects, and time-and-materials engagements
- Coordinate purchase orders and assist with invoice and purchasing questions
- Maintain accurate records in contract, procurement, and workflow systems
- Assist with expense tracking, budget updates, and operational activities
- Provide updates on progress, decisions, and delays
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in contract administration or management supporting technology services or IT staffing
- Familiarity with service agreement structures, including managed services, fixed-price, and time-and-materials arrangements
- Ability to organize competing priorities and manage multiple requests at different stages
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Effective communication skills and experience coordinating across departments and with vendors
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and contract records
- A proactive approach to identifying needs and advancing work independently
