Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects in the commercial, warehouse, and retail sectors. Responsibilities
  • Supervising and coordinating all construction activities on-site, ensuring all work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
  • Managing and directing the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, labor and materials, ensuring maximum productivity and cost-efficiency.
  • Implementing and enforcing safety and quality control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and meetings, identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles to progress.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication at all times.
  • Preparing and submitting regular progress reports, budgets, cost reports and forecasts, keeping senior management informed of project status and any issues or concerns.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with specific experience in commercial, warehouse and retail construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, standards and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire and direct a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using construction software and technology, including project management, scheduling and budgeting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
