We're looking for a Construction Manager who wants more than just another supervisory position. This is an opportunity to lead field operations, build high-performing teams, develop future leaders, and help grow one of our expanding markets.

You'll serve as the operational bridge between Project Management and the field, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. As our Rochester operation grows, so will your opportunities for advancement.

What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for daily field operations by ensuring crew members on jobsites are productive, safe, and efficient.
  • Responsible for managing larger projects and the coordination with customers
  • Verify accurate reporting data from the field to include daily logs, material consumption, As Built integrity, etc.
  • Communicate directly with Project Managers and Field personnel to understand scope of work and prepare for a successful day.
  • Supports Field personnel, providing leadership, accountability, mentorship, and operational guidance
  • Fills in for Project Managers when necessary
  • Assist Project Managers with compiling data for accurate billing and customer deliverables
  • Be present on multiple jobsites as field force continues to grow
  • Prepares feedback to develop Scope of Work by listing labor, materials, equipment, and production requirements
  • Helps coordinate project schedules and manpower needs with Operations and Project Management
  • Kick off the day with crew members by coordinating materials, tools, equipment staging, and jobsite readiness
  • Offer feedback to guide training and development efforts to meet the needs of the crew members and customers
  • Lead by example to support face forward safety culture and report any incidents to the Safety Coordinator
  • Support subcontractor coordination when required, evaluate subcontractor quality and performance, and recommend removal if performance is unsatisfactory
Requirements
  • General safety knowledge and awareness of OSHA guidelines pertaining to telecommunications
  • Ability to exercise mature judgment and suggest the appropriate action when working with employees, management, or customers
  • Experience with leading change initiatives and process improvement in a collaborative manner
  • Excellent in person and electronic communications skills
  • Ability to utilize with proficiency – Outlook email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to occasionally travel to/from job sites
  • Effective internal and external communications skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in their work
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, while adapting to the various personalities and experience levels of the Project management team
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work within established deadlines
