Job SummaryOur Construction Management team is looking for a construction inspector to support our Rochester, New York location. This is an entry-level opportunity with a chance to learn firsthand about the Municipality of Rochester.
Responsibilities- General construction inspection.
- Measurement and documentation of construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Computation of quantities and test values.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Requires a High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) plus at least one (1) year of experience in construction.
- Ability to perform basic calculations for determining yield, quantities, etc.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain neat and accurate records.
- Capability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining safe work practices.
- Ability to receive verbal and/or written instructions and perform tasks independently.
- Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
- Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. The base compensation range for this position is $58,000–$87,000 annually. TYLin offers a comprehensive total rewards package that may include extensive medical, disability, and life insurance coverage, continuing education benefits, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a retirement savings plan with company matching contributions.
