iWorld Professionals is seeking a Construction Project Manager for our client a premier construction company in Rochester NY. If you have experience in managing large, complex construction projects, this position is for you!

This position is ideal for a project manager who enjoys taking ownership of their projects, building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, and leading teams through complex construction challenges.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the overall financial and operational success of assigned projects while coordinating closely with owners, architects, engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.

  • Manage commercial construction projects from planning and preconstruction through completion and closeout
  • Oversee multiple projects and project teams simultaneously
  • Develop, manage, and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Monitor project financial performance and take action to maintain profitability
  • Coordinate project schedules with field leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Lead owner, architect, contractor, and project coordination meetings
  • Manage relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and other project documentation
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, bid processes, contract negotiations, and subcontract administration
  • Review and approve change orders and monitor their impact on project cost and schedule
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, ASIs, drawing logs, transmittals, pay applications, and other project documentation
  • Oversee project billing, job cost reporting, forecasting, and financial controls
  • Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Ensure work meets established quality standards, building codes, project specifications, and contractual requirements
  • Manage project closeout, punch lists, turnover documentation, and final completion
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible construction project management experience
  • Experience managing commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, educational, municipal, or other complex construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar projects
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, estimating, cost controls, and project financials
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and design professionals
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and project closeout procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong understanding of project risk management and problem resolution
  • Experience with construction project management and scheduling software
  • Ability to work on-site in Rochester NY.

Base Salary $120,000 - $150,000 plus comprehensive benefit package.
