Full-time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) - Ridgemont Animal Hospital
Pet Vet Care Centers' Ridgemont Animal Hospital is looking for a caring and organized Care Coordinator to join our team in Rochester, New York. Our mission is to improve the lives of animals and people by providing exceptional and compassionate care.
As a Care Coordinator, you will contribute to a high‑performing organization that delivers superior care and exceptional service. The role is closely aligned with Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, and Client Care Specialist positions.
Position OverviewIn this role you will perform a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing vital support to the hospital. You will handle in‑person, phone, and high‑stress situations with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
- Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
- Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
- Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
- Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
- Assist with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
- Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
- High school diploma or GED required, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
- Comfortable using basic computer applications and internet tools.
- Experience in customer service.
- At least 1 year of veterinary field experience.

Pay Range: $16 – $20 USD per hour.
