Position Overview

The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester (URMC) in Rochester, NY, is seeking an energetic, inspirational, and accomplished radiologist to lead the Breast Imaging division. This individual will lead a growing team of outstanding breast radiologists dedicated to the highest quality outcomes and educational innovation.

The clinical mission of the Division of Breast Imaging is to provide individually tailored comprehensive care for the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. Our Breast Imaging division presently consists of 7 dedicated faculty members and provides state‑of‑the‑art imaging including novel ultrasound tomography and breast CT. Structured reporting software and automated breast density with risk assessment are used across the enterprise.

The division is an integral component of the comprehensive breast program at the Wilmot Cancer Center of the University of Rochester.

The department operates a Mobile Mammography Van that provides access to underserved and underinsured patients across our region.

There are many opportunities to develop research in collaboration with clinical colleagues as well as basic science/engineering groups at the university. Multiple academic activity tracks allow promotion through scholarly education or clinical activity.

• A  certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship training or equivalent experience in breast imaging
• Strong commitment to leadership development
• Eligibility to obtain a New York State Medical License

• Annual Salary $514,500 – $534,900
• Additional Compensation in the form of clinical and non‑clinical incentives
