Purpose: Trillium Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Physician specializing in Infectious Diseases to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in our licensed diagnostic and treatment center under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer and the Medical Director of Infectious Diseases.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
- Provide Infectious Disease Consultation to adult patients on-site in clinic with an interdisciplinary approach.
- Participate in a rotating weekly phone-based call system to handle urgent patient communications, ED visits, hospital admissions, panic lab values, etc.
- Precept students, residents, and other medical staff during elective rotations at Trillium Health.
- Obtain 100 or more CME credits every two years to remain eligible for medical staff credentialing and commercial insurance credentialing.
- Complete all clinical documentation within 3 business days of medical treatment.
- Conduct Ongoing Peer Reviews on a quarterly basis and Focused Peer Reviews as assigned.
- Perform duties related to quality assurance and other administrative tasks as required.
- Demonstrate commitment to inclusiveness and diversity, respecting individuals of different backgrounds, cultures, races, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, experiences, opinions, etc.

- Maintain confidentiality of all patients, client, employee, protected, and proprietary information.
- Meet department performance standards and participate in compliance audits, process improvement, and quality improvement plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Preferred: M.D. or D.O. Degree and Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine, with a Fellowship in Infectious Disease. Or HIV specialist physicians as credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- Occasionally stoop, bend, lift, or move up to 25 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
