POSITION

1.0 FTE Special Education - LD Teacher position available for the  School Year.

LOCATIONS

Kellogg Middle School (.5) and Prairie Care (.5)

Travelling teachers must have reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement available.

Prorated based upon hire date.

Based on level of education and full years of licensed teaching experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current Minnesota PELSB license in appropriate area preferred and/or required: K-12 Learning Disabilities or Academic Behavior Strategist.

RPS makes an effort to hire teachers with a full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable.
  • Demonstrates continued professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
  • Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
