Lead Preschool Teacher

• Lead the implementation of Kinder Care’s curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support the center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.

• Minimum six months of center‑based early childhood education experience.
• Meet and maintain the state‑specific requirement to supervise children alone in a classroom setting.
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi‑task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and to engage in physical activity with children; able to assume postures at low levels to maintain visual contact.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

Range: $18.30 – $22.45 per hour. In Minnesota, a $3.00 per hour premium is added for all classroom hours worked.
